My studio these days is usually a card table set up in the living room, or a lap desk on the bed. This way I can keep an eye on the children while I work, or leave my things out in the bedroom with the door shut while I tend to other things. It isn’t a very professional studio, but that is what works for me right now with little ones around.
Working on the final design for these baby cards, and thank you’s was done in both places. I first played around with different tools, and colors in the living room and created a sample. Then the actual cards were sponged, and stamped in the bedroom.

I use these as templates for sponging certain areas instead of a whole card. If the size isn’t what I need, I cover parts of the template, or combine two. The ink wipes right off with a damp paper towel when I am through.
